Does placenta position changes during pregnancy?

My anomaly scan said placenta is low lying and the doc said it might move up later. Matlab it actually shifts on its own? im 20 weeks. Anyone whose position changed by next scan?

Yes, it actually can! Mine was low-lying in the second trimester but moved up by the 36th week, so I had a smooth normal delivery.

It usually shifts upwards as the uterus grows bigger. Don't worry too much, just follow doctor's advice and avoid lifting heavy things.
