Actually yaar, pregnancy doesn't cure adenomyosis permanently. It just gives you a temporary break from the symptoms because you aren't menstruating. Once your periods start again post-delivery, the symptoms usually return.
I am also planning to conceive and have adenomyosis, so I've been researching this a lot. From what I understand, the symptoms go away during pregnancy but might come back later. Has anyone here actually conceived easily with it?
I just delivered my baby two months ago. My gynac told me that while the high progesterone during pregnancy temporarily halts adenomyosis, it is not a cure. Right now I am pain-free, but I know it might return once my cycle normalizes.
During my consultations at the premium hospital where I delivered, the senior consultant explained that pregnancy only temporarily suppresses adenomyosis symptoms due to hormonal changes. It doesn't permanently cure it, so definitely ask your doctor to explain the long-term outlook.
I had adenomyosis and recently had a C-section delivery. During pregnancy, I had no pain at all, which was a huge relief, but my doctor told me it's not a permanent cure. The recovery from C-section was smooth, but I'm keeping an eye on my periods now.
