My gums have been bleeding everytime i brush since around 4th month, never had this before. Dentist said its because of pregnancy. Does it go back to normal after delivery or stays like this?
My gums were so sensitive and bled a bit, partly from all the vomiting acid too. Rinsing with plain water after sickness and a soft brush helped me. It calmed down nicely after the baby came.
My dentist said pregnancy gingivitis is from hormones and usually settles after delivery once hormones normalize. Meanwhile gentle brushing, flossing and a soft brush help a lot. She said a dental cleaning is safe during pregnancy if needed, so dont avoid the dentist.
Yes mine got better after delivery both times. During pregnancy my gums bled easily, soft brush and regular flossing kept it in control. Dont skip dental care, that only makes it worse.
