At my scan they mentioned i have a retroverted uterus and now my mind is overthinking. Will it cause any problem in conceiving or carrying? Anyone here with the same who can share?
Nahi beta, isse koi dikkat nahi hoti hai. Jaise-jaise bacha bada hota hai, bacha-daani apne aap seedhi ho jaati hai. Tum bilkul chinta mat karo aur khush raho.
Actually, research shows that around 20% of women have a retroverted uterus. My doctor explained that as the pregnancy progresses around the 12th week, the uterus naturally rises up out of the pelvis and straightens itself, so there's absolutely no risk.
Haha trust me, by the 3rd trimester, everything inside gets squished anyway, whether it is retroverted or not! Your uterus will naturally stand upright as the baby grows, so don't worry about it.
My gynac told me a tilted uterus is very common and doesn't affect pregnancy at all. I was even allowed to continue my light prenatal walks and yoga, which kept me active and fit.
Arre yaar, don't stress, actually a retroverted uterus is super common and totally normal. It doesn't affect your baby or delivery at all, so just chill and enjoy your pregnancy!
