I have RA since a few years and now we are planning to conceive. Bit anxious how it will all go once im pregnant, will it flare up or get better? Anyone here managed pregnancy with arthritis, would really like to know ur experience.
This really needs your doctor's close guidance, it's not something to manage from advice online. RA and the medicines for it both need planning before and during pregnancy. Please get a proper consult with your rheumatologist and gynac together.
Many women with RA have healthy pregnancies, but it has to be carefully managed with your specialist. Some medications need changing before conceiving. Definitely have a planned discussion with your doctors, that's the safest route.
I dont have RA so I cant advise on it, but a friend of mine managed her pregnancy well with proper specialist care. The key for her was planning everything in advance with her doctors. Please get that personalised guidance.
