Does same blood group of husband and wife affect pregnancy?
Me and my husband both have same blood group and my saas keeps saying its not good for baby. Planning to conceive soon so this got me tense. Is there any truth in this ya just gossip?
Usually, having the same blood group like A+, B+, etc. for both husband and wife doesn't affect pregnancy at all. What matters is the Rh factor incompatibility, if the mother is Rh-negative and the father is Rh-positive. But even for that, modern medicine has easy solutions like injections. So don't worry, it's generally not an issue for same blood groups.
Oh my god, I also panicked about this initially, thinking all sorts of things! But my doctor clarified it's perfectly normal if your main blood groups are the same. They only look at the Rh factor, like if you're A-negative and your husband is A-positive. But even that is manageable with medical care. So no need to stress about it at all!
Haha, no yaar, blood group same hone se baby ko kuch nahi hota. Imagine, agar aisa hota toh kitne couples ko problem hoti! The main thing doctors check is Rh factor, not the primary blood group. So chill, your love life is safe!
Generally, same blood groups don't create problems in pregnancy. What matters more is if the Rh factor is different, especially if mom is Rh-negative. But even for that, doctors have solutions these days. For your peace of mind, just ask your gynac during your first visit, they'll clear all doubts.
Absolutely not! My husband and I have the same blood group, and my little one is a healthy, happy toddler now. The doctor only really cares about the Rh factor, and they check that very early on. So, don't worry about it at all. It's perfectly fine.
Oh, this is such a good question! I was wondering the same thing as we're planning a baby. So many things to consider. But it's reassuring to know from others that same blood group is usually not an issue. We'll definitely discuss the Rh factor with our doctor though.
