Im barely 6 weeks and i sleep on my stomach mostly, but now suddenly im scared if that is wrong this early. MIL says left side se sona, i dont know matlab so soon? Does position really matter right now?
It's so normal to worry about every little thing in early pregnancy, I totally get that feeling. In the very early stages, sleeping position actually doesn't matter much at all. Your baby is tiny and well-protected. You can sleep in whatever position is comfortable for you. Later on, they suggest left side.
In the very early months, you can pretty much sleep how you like, it won't affect the baby. Later on, when your belly grows, sleeping on your side becomes more comfortable anyway. I remember post C-section, even sleeping on my side was a task initially, but it gets better.
Haha, I remember stressing about this! But honestly, in early pregnancy, it really doesn't matter much. Sleep on your back, side, whatever. Your baby is super tiny and well cushioned. Only much later, like 3rd trimester, do they recommend left side. So chill, enjoy your sleep now!
In early pregnancy, the baby is still very small and protected deep inside, so your sleeping position won't harm it. Please try not to overthink this. Just focus on getting enough rest, which is so important. Later, your doctor will advise on side sleeping.
Not really in early pregnancy, don't stress about it! Your body is so smart, it protects the baby well. Sleep however you're most comfortable. It's only much later, usually third trimester, that doctors recommend sleeping on your side, especially left.
