I've been having some dull aches in my lower stomach lately, and it's making me a little worried. Does stomach pain or discomfort usually happen during pregnancy? I'm in my first trimester.
Mild stretching pain and gas is very normal, and drinking warm water or eating small meals helps. But if the pain is severe or you feel sharp cramps, please check with your gynac immediately. Don't try any home remedies for intense pain.
Same here, I am currently in my second trimester and sometimes feel mild pulling pain on the sides when I stand up. My doctor said it's just ligament stretching. Are you having severe pain, or is it just mild discomfort?
Mild abdominal discomfort can happen due to digestion or muscle stretching. Doing gentle prenatal yoga and regular walking really helped my digestion, but only do these after your doctor allows it. For any severe cramping, skip everything and call your gynac.
I recently delivered my baby and yes, mild stretching pain or round ligament pain is super common as your uterus expands. But please note, if the stomach pain is heavy or constant, contact your doctor right away. Better to get it checked and be at peace.
I have heard from my sisters that minor cramping or bloating can happen in early pregnancy. But if the stomach pain is really strong or if there is any spotting, it's best to call your gynac. Hopefully everything is fine!
