Im 5 months and my bump is quite small compared to my cousin who was at same stage. Relatives keep commenting and now im worried baby is ok or not. Does the size really tell anything? anyone with a small bump had a healthy baby?
Not as much as people think. Belly size depends on your body type, height, position of baby, first or second pregnancy. Both my pregnancies looked totally different. What matters is the scans and baby's growth, not how big you look.
Everyone kept commenting on my small tummy and I got upset. But my doctor said baby is growing fine. Dont listen to people na, only the doctor's measurement matters. Your bump is your own.
I used to compare my belly with others online and panic, please dont do that. Some show early, some late. As long as your doctor says growth is on track, you are good. I had to keep reminding myself this.
Relatives always have something to say about bump size, my mom heard it all in her time too. But truly it doesnt mean much, the doctor's growth scan is what counts. Smile and let the comments go.
I keep wondering if my bump is too small for my weeks, did anyone else feel this way? My gynac measured and said its fine. I guess size really varies person to person.
