I had an ulcer issue before getting pregnant and now im a bit worried whether it can cause problems for the baby. Trying to conceive soon and this keeps coming in my mind. Has anyone gone through pregnancy with ulcer history?
I had acidity and ulcer issues before pregnancy and it did flare up. My doctor adjusted my diet and medicines carefully. Please dont take ulcer meds on your own now, only what gynac approves.
Acidity got worse for me with the nausea, so I ate small bland meals and avoided spicy stuff. If you already have ulcer, even more reason to be gentle with food. Doctor guidance is best here.
Any existing condition needs proper follow up during pregnancy, I learned that with my thyroid. Tell your gynac about the ulcer so they monitor it. Regular checkups keep things in control.
