Work has been super hectic and im always tense, plus the whole trying to conceive thing is itself stressful. Sometimes i wonder if my own stress is the reason its not happening. anyone felt this?
I won't pretend stress is the whole story, because it isn't and I don't want you blaming yourself. But yes, being constantly stressed can affect cycles and hormones a bit. During my journey I found small things, walks, sleep, talking it out, helped more than I expected. Be kind to yourself.
My gynac said chronic stress can disturb hormones and ovulation timing for some women, so it does play a role, though it's rarely the only reason. She suggested simple stress management, regular sleep, light exercise. If it's been long, getting checked clears a lot of the worry too.
It can a little, but please don't stress about stressing, that's a trap yaar. The pressure of trying every month is the real stress for most of us. Take it easy, distract yourself, it genuinely helps.
From my experience high stress did mess with my cycles, and with PCOS that made things harder. I'm careful not to say it's the only factor though. Managing it helped me feel more in control even if it wasn't a guaranteed fix.
