Theres been a lot of tension at home lately and i keep crying over small things. Now im worried all this stress is reaching the baby somehow. Does it actually affect them? feeling guilty.
I asked my gynac this exact thing. She said occasional stress baby handles fine, but ongoing high stress can affect sleep, BP and appetite which then matters. She suggested light yoga (doctor approved), enough rest and reaching out if u feel low constantly.
Try to keep your mind calm and positive beta, it really does help both of u. I used to listen to bhajans and just sit quietly for some time daily. Take care and dont carry the whole world on ur shoulders right now.
Babes a bit of stress is not gonna hurt the baby, promise. Just dont let it become a everyday thing. Vent to me, sleep well, watch something silly. Dont stress too much about stressing, haha.
Looking back, I worried so much during pregnancy and my son is now a happy crazy toddler. The body is more resilient than we think. Just take care of urself and if u ever feel really low for days, talk to ur doctor, theres no shame in it.
Normal stress here and there is fine, every pregnant woman has it. Its long term chronic stress thats not good. Walking, talking to someone, breathing slow, all of it helps. Both my pregnancies had stressful phases and babies were perfectly fine.
First, dont feel guilty for being stressed, its so normal. A little everyday tension is okay and wont harm baby. Constant heavy stress isnt great so try to find small calming things, but pls dont stress about being stressed, that loop is the worst.
