Ive heard people say if u read or study a lot during pregnancy the baby turns out sharper. Im in my second trimester and have some free time, so thinking of picking up reading again. Is there any truth to this or just a sweet thought?
Don't stress about this yaar. Studying won't magically make a genius baby, but it can't hurt if you enjoy it. The best thing for baby is you being chill and content, so just do what makes you feel good.
Haha if that worked every CA aunty would have a genius baby. There's no proof reading makes baby smarter, but if studying keeps you calm and happy, that's good for both of you. Do it because you enjoy it, not for any superbaby plan.
I believe keeping your mind peaceful and positive is what truly benefits the baby. People follow garbh sanskar, reading and good music for that calm. Do whatever brings you peace and joy, that's the real gift to the little one.
No it doesn't directly make them smarter, that's a myth. But a calm, happy mom is genuinely better for the baby. I read novels in my pregnancy just because I liked it. Do what relaxes you, skip the pressure.
There's no real evidence that studying makes the baby smarter. What helps the baby is you being relaxed, well nourished and stress free. So if studying relaxes you, great, but don't pressure yourself thinking it'll boost the baby's IQ.
