My recent reports show subclinical hypothyroidism, tsh slightly high. Im 6 weeks along and the gynac put me on meds but i keep thinking will it harm the baccha. Anyone went through this and had a healthy pregnancy?
Haan, thoda toh affect karta hai agar dhyaan na rakho toh. Doctors iske liye ek subah khali pet wali goli dete hain, bas vahi regular khani hoti hai. Apne gynac se consult karo, thoda bhi risk nahi lena chahiye.
I know how scary it is when you see an abnormal report in pregnancy, I cried so much. But please don't worry, subclinical thyroid is very easy to treat with a daily medicine. Your baby will be perfectly fine, just talk to your doctor.
I tracked my TSH levels every month on my app during pregnancy. Subclinical hypothyroidism is very common, but it's crucial to keep your TSH under 2.5 in the first trimester. Definitely consult your gynac; they will put you on a low dose of thyroid medication.
Oh god, my thyroid levels were all over the place and now I am up at 3 AM with a baby, so clearly it didn't stop him! But seriously, subclinical thyroid can cause issues if ignored. Just take the tiny pill your doc prescribes, it's very easy to manage.
Honestly, I panicked like crazy when my thyroid report came slightly high. But my doctor smiled and said it's totally normal in pregnancy and just gave me a mild medicine. Once I started it, my levels became perfect. It is very manageable!
