got my thyroid detected only after i conceived, was totally normal before. doc started me on medicine. just curious does it go back to normal once baccha aa jaye or stays lifelong? anyone whose thyroid went away after delivery?
Actually I'm also planning my pregnancy right now and had this same doubt about thyroid. My didi told me hers went away after delivery but she still had to get tests done. Let's see, hopefully it's manageable for us.
I felt so overwhelmed when my thyroid reports came positive during my first pregnancy. After delivery, my levels got back to normal after 6 months of meds. It was hard but please stay strong, things do settle down.

I've been super careful about my thyroid and daily walking really helped keep my energy up. But honestly, it only helps if doctor allowed you to exercise. My gynac said thyroid might normalise post delivery but regular checks are must.
