I just found out im around 5 weeks and my lower back has been aching since couple days. Got me a little worried tbh, is this a normal early symptom or no? anyone else felt this so soon?
Mild back ache early on is super common, its the hormones and your uterus changing. Both my pregnancies started this way. Just avoid heavy lifting and dont sit too long in one position.
Mine eased a lot with gentle stretching and short walks, but only after my doctor okayed it. A warm (not hot) compress on the lower back also felt nice. Worth a try na.
I had this and got a little scared honestly. My gynac said it was normal pregnancy back pain. Anyone else also felt it more in the lower back near the start?
A mild ache is usually normal. But if the pain is sharp, one sided, or comes with bleeding or cramps, please dont ignore it and call your doctor. Better to get checked.
Yes! I felt a dull lower back ache even before I knew I was pregnant. It was the hormones loosening everything up apparently. Felt so reassured when I read others had it too.
