Does your sleep pattern change in early pregnancy?
Im around 6 weeks and suddenly i feel sleepy all the time in day but then jaag jaati hu at 3am for no reason. Never had this before. Is this a pregnancy thing or just me?
Oh yes, absolutely! My doctor explained that early pregnancy brings a surge in progesterone, which is a sedative hormone. This can make you feel super sleepy during the day and sometimes affect night sleep too, making it restless. It's a very common symptom.
Yes, darling, it definitely does. After going through IVF, I was so tuned into every change in my body. The fatigue in the first trimester is real, and it totally messed with my sleep schedule. It's your body working overtime to grow a tiny human, so be kind to yourself and rest whenever you can.
I felt like a zombie in my first trimester! Seriously, I could sleep anywhere, anytime. Then at night, I would sometimes wake up to pee or just feel restless. It was a crazy phase, but completely normal. Your body is doing so much work, so give it grace.
Meri pregnancy mein, I had some complications, so I was hyper-aware of every change. Sleep changes are common, but if you're having severe insomnia or exhaustion, or if it's accompanied by other worrying symptoms, please discuss it with your gynac. Always better to be safe.
Oh yes, 100%! I remember being so tired all the time in the first few months. Then as pregnancy progressed, sleep became difficult again, and after C-section too, recovery took time. So yes, sleep patterns change a lot, but your body adjusts. Just try to get rest whenever you can.
Many women do experience significant changes in their sleep patterns during early pregnancy, ranging from extreme fatigue to difficulty sleeping. Hormonal shifts are largely responsible. While it's generally normal, if it's severely impacting your daily life, it's always wise to consult your doctor for advice.
