I'm in my first trimester and feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the advice. Can someone give me a quick list of important do's and don'ts for early pregnancy?
In early pregnancy, do eat small balanced meals and take your folic acid daily. Don't load up on heavy sweets, maida, or processed juices thinking you need to 'eat for two'. Keeping your blood sugar in check from day one is very important.
My mother advised me to stay away from travel and jerky roads during the first three months. My doctor also agreed it is better to take rest. Do take your prenatal vitamins without fail and keep a happy mind.
Simple rules—do drink lots of water, eat fresh ghar ka khana, and walk slowly. Don't lift heavy water buckets, don't take random medicines without asking doctor, and avoid outside street food to prevent stomach infections.
I completely understand how overwhelming all these rules can feel in the beginning, it's so easy to get anxious. Just focus on resting well, avoiding heavy weights, and eating what you can tolerate. You are doing great, just take one day at a time.
I am in my first trimester and my gynac told me to completely avoid raw papaya, pineapple, and heavy lifting. Are you guys also feeling super exhausted all the time? I basically just sleep and eat light home food now.
