My breasts are already feeling much fuller and heavier, and I'm just in my first trimester. I'm wondering how big breasts usually get during pregnancy. Will they keep growing throughout?
Honestly, they got so huge I felt like I was carrying extra watermelons along with my baby bump! It’s funny because my cravings also went up at the same time. Just invest in good stretchable non-wired bras, thank me later.
I asked my lactation consultant at the hospital about this because my size increased by almost two cups in the second trimester! She said it's totally normal due to milk ducts preparing, and guided me on buying the right nursing bras. Do ask your hospital staff, they have great pamphlets on this.
I am in my 5th month and already went up two sizes, is this normal? They also feel very sore and itchy sometimes. Did anyone else experience this much growth so early? I feel a bit conscious.
Oh I totally understand how strange it feels to see your body changing so fast. Mine grew quite a bit and felt so heavy, but it is just your body getting ready to nourish your sweet little baby. Embrace these changes, you look beautiful.
Having PCOS, my hormone levels were always a bit erratic, so I didn't see huge changes until the third trimester. Don't worry if yours grow a lot or not much, it doesn't affect your milk supply later. Just take it day by day.
My mummy told me this is just nature's way of preparing, so don't worry. She made me apply simple warm coconut oil to prevent stretch marks and itching, which worked wonders. Every body is different, so some expand more and some less.
