My blood group is negative and someone in family scared me saying it can cause problems in pregnancy. Now im a little tension about it. Planning to ask doc but wanted to know others experience first.
I am Rh-negative and my husband is Rh-positive, so I've been a bit anxious about this compatibility thing. My doctor said it's very common and managed easily. Has anyone else in their second trimester taken the Anti-D injection yet?
No need to worry too much! 🌟 It only matters if your blood group is Rh-negative and husband is Rh-positive, which doctors easily manage with an injection. Stay happy and keep smiling! 😊
I just delivered and my blood group is O negative while my husband is B positive. I was given an Anti-D injection during pregnancy and after delivery, and everything was completely smooth. Just discuss it with your gynac.
Please get your and your partner's blood group checked immediately as Rh incompatibility can affect the baby. Your gynac will guide you on the exact tests and injections needed to keep the pregnancy safe.
The blood group test is very cheap and done in the first routine checkup itself. If you are Rh-negative, just keep some budget aside for the Anti-D injection, which might cost a few thousands but is extremely important for baby's safety.
