My periods were always a bit irregular so im confused about how far along i actually am. Doc gave a date at the scan but i want to understand how it's counted. Can someone explain simply?
You should use a pregnancy tracker app like BabyCenter or Flo! You just enter the first day of your last period, and it automatically calculates your due date and tells you exactly how many weeks pregnant you are every day.
Beta, simple tarika hai, jis din tumhara aakhri period shuru hua tha na, wahi se din ginte hain. Baki tum chinta mat karo, jab doctor ke paas jaogi toh woh scan karke bilkul sahi tarikh bata denge.
It is normally calculated from the first day of your Last Menstrual Period (LMP). Just add 280 days or 40 weeks to that date to get your estimated due date. But remember, very few babies actually arrive on the exact due date!
Aapka jo last period ka first day tha na, wahan se count karte hain, ho na. Doctor bhi wahi se date nikalte hain, bas usme 9 months aur 7 days add kar lo.
You can easily calculate it from the first day of your last period! There are so many quick online calculators for this, just put your LMP date and boom, you get your due date! 🥳
Just count from the first day of your last period, though if you end up with twins like me, they usually arrive a bit earlier than that calculated date anyway! Keep your bags packed a bit early just in case, haha.
If you conceived naturally, it is usually counted from the first day of your last period. But for IVF moms like me, the doctor calculates it precisely based on the embryo transfer date. Your doctor will give you the most accurate due date during your first scan.
