My Hb is low in the latest report and I feel tired climbing even one floor. Doctor has given supplements but I also want food ideas that are practical. What helped your hemoglobin improve?
Haan I had same issue na. Khajoor, anar juice, sprouts and green veggies daily. But trust me food alone is slow, the supplements your doc gives matter most.
Low hb is super common in pregnancy, dont panic. Eat your iron foods, take the tablets, and just give it some weeks. It comes up slowly, be patient with yourself.
You dont need fancy stuff honestly. Beetroot, spinach, dates, peanuts, all cheap and work well. Plus the govt iron folic tablets are basically free at the hospital, take those regularly and recheck after a month.
My hb was low both times. Iron rich food helped a lot, palak, beetroot, dates, jaggery instead of sugar. But honestly the iron tablets from gynac did the real work, dont skip those.
Please get your exact hb number from doctor first, mine dropped quite low and they had to adjust my dose. Dont just rely on home food if it's very low, get it checked properly and follow what gynac says.
My doctor told me to take iron tablet with something vitamin C like nimbu pani or orange, it absorbs better that way. And dont take iron with tea or milk, gap of one hour. Mine went up nicely in a month.
I was working so I kept it simple, soaked raisins and dates in morning, sprouts in lunch, and the iron pill at night so I dont forget. Easy to fit in a busy day and it worked for me.
