My hb came a bit low in the last report and my gynac mentioned it. Im a veg so a little worried about how to bring it up naturally. Anyone with same issue, what worked for u?
While having spinach, dates, and beetroot is great, please check with your gynac before trying too many home remedies. If your hemoglobin is very low, food alone might not be enough and you will need specific iron supplements. Always let your doctor guide the dosage.
My hemoglobin also dropped last month, so my doctor put me on iron pills. Along with that, I’m eating apple and beetroot daily. Is anyone else also feeling extremely tired because of low Hb?
I have heard that eating soaked black raisins and dates daily is very good for improving blood levels. Also, adding a little lemon juice to your food helps our body absorb iron better. Hope this helps you safely.
Eating beetroot, spinach, and apples really helped me raise my levels safely. Since I had gestational diabetes, I had to avoid too many sweet things like pomegranate juice or dates, so I focused on green leafy veggies. Make sure to take your iron tablets as prescribed too.
I had such terrible morning sickness that I couldn't swallow spinach or beetroot at all! My doc suggested having simple pomegranate juice and taking my iron tablets with a little lemon water to help absorption. Don't force yourself to eat things that make you throw up.
