How can ovarian cysts affect a pregnancy test?

I have a cyst that was found in a scan a while back, and now im trying to conceive. Mere mann mein doubt aa raha hai ki can the cyst mess up the result somehow, like false positive ya negative? anyone with cysts who can share?
