How can we avoid teenage pregnancy?

I am asking for my younger cousin because she is in college and honestly our family never talks openly about this. I want to guide her properly, not scare her. What should girls know clearly?

In our time no one talked about these things and that was the problem. Beta, the real answer is talking openly with children, guiding them with love and proper knowledge instead of fear. Keep them busy in studies and good company too.
