A home urine kit from any pharmacy is the reliable way, use first morning urine. Wait till your period is missed for an accurate result. If positive, then go to the gynac to confirm.
I used a normal prega type kit at home and it was spot on. My app reminded me to test in the morning for the strongest line. Then I confirmed with a blood test at the lab.
