Just got my positive test and im SO confused about the weeks thing. I dont remember my exact last period date properly and everyone keeps asking how far along i am. How do you actually count it?
Due date is roughly 40 weeks from your last period first day. Doctors calculate same way and confirm with a scan. Dont count from the day of intercourse, that confuses people.
We usually count months at home, but doctor goes by weeks from your last period. Both are fine, just remember the LMP date for your appointment and the scan gives exact dating.
