How do i calculate pregnancy weeks?

Just got my positive test and everyone keeps asking how many weeks I am but honestly im confused. Do we count from last period date or from conception? Pls explain in simple way.

Count from the first day of ur last period, not from conception. So if ur period was missing now, doc will already add 2 weeks roughly. Thats how they all do it.

Generally its from LMP, last menstrual period. But the early ultrasound gives the most correct dating, so let ur doctor confirm the weeks at first visit.

Beta dont stress on the maths. Just remember ur last period date and tell doctor, woh khud bata denge kitne week ho gaye.

I just put my last period date in one of those pregnancy tracker apps and it did everything, week count, due date sab kuch. Honestly so much easier than counting on calender.
