Got my beta hcg report and honestly i just see numbers and dont understand what's good or bad. Appointment with gynac is only next week and the wait is killing me. Anyone knows how to make sense of these values?
For the beta hCG, a rising number that roughly doubles every 2-3 days in early weeks is a good sign. But honestly the numbers are best interpreted by your gynac along with your scan. My doctor said dont compare with others online, ranges vary a lot.
Each report has reference ranges printed next to your values, anything flagged high or low your doctor will discuss. hCG is the pregnancy hormone, the rest are routine health checks. Dont stress, take it to your appointment and ask freely.
Dont try to decode it all yourself, it gets confusing fast. hCG confirms pregnancy, and other values like Hb, blood group, thyroid etc your doctor will explain. Take the report to her, thats what she is there for.
I used to stare at every number and panic, big mistake. Please dont google each value, it spirals. Let your doctor read it properly, the full picture matters not one number. I learned this the hard way.
