We recently started trying and I feel silly because I dont fully understand timing. Apps show fertile window but my cycle changes by few days. How did you learn when to try?
I was figuring this out too. The egg releases around mid cycle and thats your window, so being together around those days matters most. There are ovulation kits and apps that help find the right days.
Generally its about timing it near ovulation. But if cycles are irregular like mine were, it can be harder to predict and may take time. If nothing happens in several months, a doctor can guide you, dont lose hope.
Basically you need to have intercourse around your fertile days, which is the few days before and on ovulation. Track your cycle, ovulation is usually mid cycle. Time it those days and give it a few months.
Same boat here. From what i read, knowing your ovulation day and being together around then is the main thing. Healthy diet and folic acid before trying also helps, my doctor suggested starting folic acid early.
In simple terms, sperm meets egg around ovulation and that leads to conception. Tracking your fertile window improves chances. If you've been trying a while without luck, a quick check with a gynac is worth it.
