My dating scan gave one due date and my LMP calculation gives another, so I am confused about the actual conception time. We had intercourse on multiple days that cycle. How close can we know it?
Mostly they count from your last period date, not the actual conception day. My doc said conception usually happens around 2 weeks after your period starts. The early dating scan gives the most accurate idea though.
Easiest way is the LMP, first day of your last period. But if you track ovulation or know the date, doc can adjust. Dont stress over exact day, scan will confirm.
Honestly the scan is the real answer. Period dates can be off if your cycle is irregular like mine. Get the first ultrasound done, they will tell you exact weeks.
