The kit detects a hormone called hcg in your urine, which the body makes after the embryo implants. My doctor said thats why testing too early can miss it, the hcg needs time to build up. Two lines means it found enough hcg.
Basically it picks up the pregnancy hormone in your pee. Thats why morning urine works best, it is more concentrated. Simple to use, just follow the box and wait the right time.
I had no idea how it worked when I did my first test, just stared at it. Now I get it detects the hormone. Did anyone else feel clueless and nervous their first time too?
