Im quite new to all this, only just found out im expecting. I keep wondering how the pains will feel when they start, like is it slow or sudden. First timer here so just curious what to expect.
Depends which pain you mean. Early on its mild crampy feeling, later its back pain and round ligament pulls. Labour pain is totally different, it comes in waves and builds up. If you mean strong or constant pain now, that needs a doctor, not guessing.
Girl by 3rd trimester something or the other is always paining lol, back, hips, ribs, you name it. Early on it was just mild cramps for me. The body really keeps you busy. But sharp pain is never to be ignored ok.
Mild stretching cramps are normal. But I want to gently say, if the pain is severe, with bleeding, or very one sided, do not wait, call your doctor immediately. I learned that the hard way, better safe.
In the beginning its mostly soft cramps and a heavy feeling as the uterus grows, totally normal. Just keep an eye that it stays mild. If it ever scares you, theres no harm in calling the doctor for peace of mind.
For me the early pain felt like mild period cramps, a dull pulling in the lower tummy. I felt so scared thinking something was wrong but it was just my body adjusting. If it ever feels sharp or one sided though, please get checked.
