Im around 18 weeks and keep wondering kya ye flutter baby movement hai ya just gas, haha. First time mom so i honestly dont know what to expect na. How did it feel for u all the first time?
After all that morning sickness, quickening felt like a reward! Initially, it was really light, like a faint flutter, almost like indigestion but higher up. Then it slowly became more like little nudges or rolls. It’s hard to describe exactly, but you'll know it's your baby once you feel it consistently. It's not painful at all.
For me, it felt like very soft, gentle taps, almost like a little flick from inside. It's such a comforting feeling, especially after going through a loss, you cherish every movement. It starts very subtly, so don't worry if you don't feel strong kicks initially. Just be patient and cherish those delicate sensations.
Oh my god, it's just magical! I felt like tiny little fish swimming around in my belly, or sometimes like a gentle tickle. It's so surreal the first time you feel it, like "oh, there's actually a baby in there!" I would just sit and wait for those little flutters. Such a beautiful milestone, I loved it.
Oh, quickening is such a special feeling! For me, it felt like tiny little bubbles popping, or sometimes like a butterfly fluttering inside. Initially, it's very subtle, so you might confuse it with gas. If you're not feeling anything by, say, 24 weeks, then of course discuss it with your gynac, but mostly it's just gentle at first.
Quickening feels different for everyone, but generally it's described as gentle flutters, bubbles, or a 'fish swimming' sensation. It's usually felt between 18-25 weeks, earlier for second pregnancies. Don't worry if it's not strong initially. However, if you're quite far along and haven't felt anything, always discuss it with your gynac. They can check everything.
