Lately i cry over really tiny things, hormones i think, and sometimes ghar pe there are tensions too. Now i feel guilty thinking it might be harming my baby. does crying actually affect anything?
My gynac told me occasional crying is harmless, but long term stress can affect sleep, appetite and BP. She suggested walking, breathing exercises and talking it out. If you feel low very often though, do mention it to her.
I totally understand, the emotions in pregnancy can be so overwhelming. A few tears wont harm your baby at all, dont add guilt to it. Just try to find little things that calm you and lean on people around you.
Try to keep your heart light as much as possible, the baby grows in your calm. I'd sit quietly, listen to soft bhajans and it really settled me. Crying sometimes is okay, just dont stay in that space too long.
Sweetheart, one crying spell isnt going to hurt the baby, so breathe. What helps is not carrying heavy worry day after day. Rest more, share your feelings, and dont bottle it all up.
First of all, crying once in a while is completely normal, hormones make us so emotional. I cried a lot and my baby is perfectly fine. Its constant heavy stress over weeks that you want to avoid, so please be gentle with yourself.
