How does the water break during pregnancy look like?
Im 36 weeks now and getting closer to my date. Im scared i wont be able to tell the difference between water breaking and just normal discharge or even pee. How did u know it actually happened?
It's usually clear or slightly pale and odourless, unlike urine. Mine was a slow leak the first time and a gush the second. If you notice any greenish colour or it leaks, get to the hospital, dont wait.
For me it was a sudden gush of clear watery fluid, not like pee, and it kept trickling after. Some women get just a slow leak instead of a big gush. Either way, if you think your water broke, call your doctor or go to the hospital right away.
Please dont try to judge it yourself if you are unsure, water leaking needs immediate attention. Mine was a slow trickle and I almost ignored it. Any suspected leaking, call your gynac straight away to be safe.
This is exactly what I worry about, how will I even know it's that and not just discharge? I'm only in 2nd trimester but already anxious about it. Did you all know clearly when it happened na?
