There are twins on my husbands side and ever since i got married everyone jokes that ill have twins too. Now that we are planning, im actually curious how twins even happen, is it genes or luck or what? just wanna understand.
Mom of twins here, double the fun and double the diapers lol. It happens either when two eggs release and both fertilise (fraternal) or one egg splits into two (identical). Mine were fraternal, runs in my family.

In our IVF journey twins were more likely because sometimes more than one embryo is placed. Otherwise it's natural splitting or two eggs. However it happens, it's a beautiful surprise. Wishing you well whatever ur situation is.
