Im about a week before my period date and just cant wait to know. Heard blood test shows earlier than the kit. How soon can i actually get it done and trust the result?
Blood test detects it earlier than the home kit, often a few days before your missed period. I did mine right around the missed period and it was crystal clear. Less false negatives than the strip too.
The blood beta hCG can pick it up quite early, around 8 to 10 days after ovulation in many cases, earlier than the urine strip. That is why labs prefer it. If you go too early though the number may be low, so timing still matters.
