Were trying since a few months and im too impatient to wait for my period date haha. Wondering how soon after ovulation a blood test can actually pick it up. Did anyone get a positive really early?
My doctor said a blood test can pick it up around 7 to 10 days after conception, earlier than urine tests. The beta hCG even shows the level. But she advised waiting a few days after a missed period for a clearer result.
Blood test detects much earlier than the strip, roughly a week or so before your missed period it can catch low levels. But dont rush, if you test super early and its low, you will only confuse yourself. Wait a little.
I read it can be detected before the period is even missed through blood. I did mine right after my missed period and it was clearly positive. When are you planning to test?
In my journey they did the beta blood test about 10-11 days after the procedure, it can catch it really early. I know the urge to test ASAP, but trust the timing your doctor gives, it saves a lot of heartache.
