My doctor said hcg in urine usually reaches detectable levels around 12 to 14 days after conception, roughly your missed period. Some kits are more sensitive but accuracy improves with waiting. A blood test detects it slightly earlier if needed.
The early detection strips claim 6 days before period but honestly mine only showed clearly after the missed date. I tested too early and got confused. Morning urine works best.
