My period is only 2 days late and im already so impatient to test. Dont want to waste a kit by testing too soon and getting a wrong result. How many days after missed period does it actually show correctly?
My gynac told me home kits pick up hCG and that hormone takes time to build up. She said morning urine after a missed period gives the strongest reading. If still confused a blood test (beta hCG) is much more accurate even earlier.
Most kits work best after your missed period. I tested too early both times and got faint lines that confused me. Wait at least a day after the period is late, you'll get a clearer result.
I was so impatient and tested like 4 days before my period, totally negative. Then tested again on the missed day and there it was. Did anyone else get a negative too early and then positive? It really plays with ur head.
Beta dont rush the testing. Give it till the period is properly late, use first morning urine, and you'll trust the result much more. Early testing just creates unnecessary tension.
