Blood tests detect it earlier than home kits, roughly a week to ten days after conception. That said, testing too early can still confuse, so timing with the doctor is best. They will tell you the right day to test for an accurate result.
My doctor said a blood beta hCG test can detect pregnancy quite early, around 8 to 10 days after conception, even before a urine test would. It is more sensitive than home kits. If you want an early confirmation, the lab blood test is the most reliable option.
