How early can you detect pregnancy before missed period?
We've been trying this month and im so impatient, i keep wanting to test even though period is still a week away. Is there any point testing this early or will it just be a waste? Anyone tested before their date and got accurate result?
In our IVF journey they did the blood test at a specific day, that's the most accurate early one. For natural cycles, blood test can show a bit before the period, urine usually after. Try not to test obsessively early, I know it's hard.
Some sensitive kits claim 3-4 days before due date, but honestly the result is unreliable that early. I always waited till the period was actually missed, much clearer line. Patience saves you the stress of faint lines.
My doctor said a blood beta hCG test can pick it up a few days before the missed period, earlier than urine kits. Home kits work better once period is actually late. Testing too early often gives a false negative.
I tested like 5 days early out of impatience and got nothing, then panicked, then tested after missed period and it was positive. So learn from me, the wait is worth it. Early tests just mess with your head.
Don't drive yourself mad testing early yaar, the lines are so faint and confusing. Blood test is the early option if you really can't wait, else just give it till after the missed date.
