How early can you detect pregnancy with a blood test?
I'm really anxious to find out if I'm pregnant, and I know blood tests are more accurate than home kits. How early can a blood test detect pregnancy after conception, even before a missed period?
Beta, a blood test is very accurate and can tell you even before your period date sometimes, around 10 days after ovulation. But don't rush, eat healthy foods and keep yourself warm. It is always better to wait a few days patiently.
It can catch those hormones about a week to 10 days after ovulation, way before a urine kit does. I was so obsessed with testing early, but now looking back at my sleeping baby, I laugh at how rushed I was. Enjoy the quiet days while they last!
A Beta HCG blood test can detect pregnancy around 10 days post-conception, even before you miss your period. It is much more sensitive than home kits. If you are anxious, just get a prescription from your doctor and get it done.
A blood test can detect it super early, like 9-11 days after you conceive. Honestly, I was so impatient I wanted to test the day after, haha! But trust me, save your energy, you have 9 months of waiting ahead anyway.
My MIL said wait for at least 10 days after missed period, but my doctor suggested a blood test which can show positive within 10 days of conceiving itself. Science is so fast now! We told the family only after getting the lab report.
