Wait till your period is missed, then a home test gives a fairly clear answer. A blood test at the lab can pick it up a bit earlier than urine kits. Testing too early just gives confusing faint lines, dont waste kits.
My doc said the beta hCG blood test can confirm pregnancy around a week or so after conception, earlier than home kits. For the strip, use first morning urine on or after the missed period for accuracy. If unsure, repeat after a couple days.
