I'm concerned about the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy because of my medical history. How early can a doctor perform a scan to detect an ectopic pregnancy? I want to get checked as soon as possible.
For my pregnancy, they did an early scan at 6 weeks to confirm the pregnancy was in the uterus. If you have any risk factors or pain, please tell your doctor. They can easily check the placement with an early ultrasound.
I just delivered my baby recently, and because I had some pain, my doctor did a transvaginal scan at around 5 and a half weeks to check the baby's location. It can be detected very early, so please see your gynac if you are worried.
I don't want to give medical advice, but in my case, my doctor scheduled my first scan at 6 weeks. They were able to see the gestational sac clearly to make sure it wasn't ectopic. Please consult your gynac for your scan timing.
Yes, you can actually scan as early as 5 to 6 weeks! 🌸 Doctors use a TVS scan to check if the baby is in the right place. Don't worry, just book an appointment with your gynac! 😊
