My test is positive and im around 5 weeks i think. So excited to see something on the scan but dont want to go too early and see nothing. At what week did u get your first proper ultrasound?
With IVF we knew exact dates so they scanned around 6 weeks and saw the heartbeat, such a relief moment. If you conceived naturally the dates can be a little off, so your doc picks the right time. Try not to rush it.
My gynac told me the gestational sac shows up around 5 weeks on a transvaginal scan, and the heartbeat usually around 6 to 7 weeks. Going too early sometimes shows nothing yet and just causes panic, so she scheduled mine a bit later.
I went at 5.5 weeks and they could only see the sac, no heartbeat yet, and I panicked for nothing. Did this happen to anyone else? At my next scan around 7 weeks the heartbeat was clearly there and I cried happy tears.
Early scan around 6 to 7 weeks usually picks up the heartbeat. Before that you might just see the sac. Dont rush to scan the moment you test positive, give it time, less stress that way.
