You can take it from the day your period is missed for a reliable result. Some kits claim a few days earlier but they are less accurate then. I always say wait till the missed period and use morning urine, saves you the false negative drama.
My doctor explained the test detects hCG which takes time to build up. Most home kits are accurate from the first day of a missed period, roughly 2 weeks after ovulation. Earlier than that you risk a false negative even if you are pregnant. Morning sample is best.
Soonest is the day your period is supposed to come but doesnt. Testing earlier just messes with your head yaar. Use first morning pee, wait the full time, and dont keep staring at it haha.
