We have been trying this month and im too impatient to wait, my period is still few days away. Just wondering how soon a home test can actually pick it up. Anyone got accurate result before missed period?

Some sensitive kits claim 5-6 days before period but hcg is still low then. My gynac said morning urine after missed period is most reliable. Blood test can catch it slightly earlier if u really need to know.
I tested like 3 days before my period and it was negative, I cried. Then after missed period it showed positive. Did anyone else get a negative too early like me?
Best is to wait till the day after ur missed period, result is much clearer then. Testing too early just gives faint or false negatives and tension. Patience thoda rakho.
