How early does breast soreness start in pregnancy?
I'm eagerly waiting to see if I'm pregnant, and I'm noticing some changes. At what point in pregnancy do breasts typically start feeling sore or tender?
It's often one of the very first signs, starting around 1 to 2 weeks after conception due to progesterone rising. It is totally normal, but wear seamless cotton bras to avoid irritation.
It usually kicks in around week 4 or 5. If it gets uncomfortable, wear a soft, supportive sports bra during work hours—it really helps you stay comfortable and focused.
For many, it starts within a week or two after conception, even before a missed period. But please don't worry if you don't feel it constantly, as symptoms can fluctuate.
It can start as early as 4 weeks, right around your missed period. Don't worry, your breasts are just preparing for breastfeeding early on, it settles down after the first trimester.
I felt it really early, almost like PMS soreness but slightly heavier, around week 5. It is a very positive sign that your pregnancy hormones are doing their job!
